Tres Hermanas

My girlfriend Nha and I often meet up to catch up with each other and it's usually over coffee, but on this particular day, we both came hungry. So I grab my coffee to go, and walked over to my favorite Mexican restaurant, Tres Hermanas.

(Coffee to-go!)

Tres Hermanas is a pretty awesome Mexican restaurant that's located in central Sacramento in a residential neighborhood. The restaurant is a converted home with original architecture and cultural art pieces displayed throughout the restaurant.

When entering, you'll be greeted by the hostess immediately and will be asked whether you like to be seated inside or outside. Since it was a nice day, we sat outside. On a side note, it does get really busy during dinner. 45 minutes to an hour. Just be sure to leave your number with the hostess so she can call you when your table is ready. ^_^

(You get chips and salsa while perusing the menu!)

Now, I've already been here on several occasions and knew exactly what I wanted. Their tamales! They're homemade stuffed with savory pork topped with ranchera sauce and cheese. It also comes with rice and beans to compliment your meal. And yes, I got Nha to order the same thing because it freaking delicious! Would I steer the girl wrong, on FOOD?! Never! Haha. It did came with a choice of soup or salad. If you had to pick, pick soup. You didn't come to a Mexican restaurant to be on a diet. If you need me to, I'll point you to the nearest restaurant that specializes in salad. XD

The plate is not that photogenic, but trust me when I say it is amazing!
